On 3 July, I had the pleasure of joining Castle Hill Brumbies players with Nathan Hindmarsh, NRL head of football Todd Greenberg and Minister for Sport, Stuart Ayres, to celebrate the instalment of much-needed lights for the club’s home ground at Castlewood Reserve. The club was able to install the lights at a cost of roughly $66,000 thanks to a grant from the NSW Footy Facilities Fund and funding from the Hills Shire Council. This project has enabled the team to train at their home ground, providing a better environment for parents and players. To apply for a grant for your sports club, visit www.dsr.nsw.gov.au/grants
